It didn't make the cut at the time but one of several available outtakes of The Beatles "She's A Woman" features a very silly McCartney singing in what sounds like a sort-of German accent just before he blows a big raspberry. It always makes me smile!

"Serenade to a Maid" by Teddy Powell and his Orchestra (Bluebird 1941).

According to the Spike Jones biography, this song has one of the "juiciest" raspberries ever put on record.

Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra. Haydn's "Surprise" Symphony also has an Orchestral Raspberry, but lower in pitch and therefore even more "authentic" in effect.

Check out The Beach Boys' "Busy Doin' Nothing". Someone blows a raspberry on that one. It's best heard with headphones.

Theres a LOT of strange stuff going on during that song in headphones. If you have access to Adobe Audition, drop the middle signal of the recording. You hear someone, probably Brian, singing some really strange "Ahhhhh"'s through the song.

The Smile boxset "Vegetables" also has a raspberry. Annoying.

The Roches "Want Not Want Not" from "Keep on Doing" ends with a whoopie cushion.

Arthur Lee's chaotic "Every Time I Look Up I'm Down Or White Dog (I Don't Know What That Means)" has the most heavy metalish vocal fart on record.

I'm really not sure if it qualifies as a true "raspberry" or not, but the Romantic's "What I Like About You". Second from the last line, I believe. Maybe the biggest, rubber-lipped, spit-covering workout of the mouth I've heard or seen (the video is a must.) :nyah:

  17. If a raspberry is what I think a raspberry is then Jill Scott does an all lip version at the very, very end of "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)"
    Good stuff.

Do the armpit farts at the beginning of Nirvana's "On a Plain" count?

Johnny Rotten had a real thing for raspberries. There are a couple of tracks on the Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle soundtrack where he throws them in, too.

It's a shame The Raspberries themselves never thought to include one on one of their songs.

Not forgetting 'The Raspberry Song' from their 1978 reunion single!! (b/w 'Rhymes' Decca Records 7". Also on)
A rare example of melodic raspberry-blowing, with Mr S. Milligan Esq. performing a descending five-note riff on the choruses, and a final, er, tour-de-fart, blow-out solo at the finale.
    Magnificent.
And thankfully available on CD, on the singles compilation 'The World Of the Goons':
