What are the greatest album closers? Not talking about best songs that happen to be at the end of the album, but I mean really make you feel like the entire record is concluding and caps it off brilliantly. For me:

Rainbow - "A Light in the Black" from Rising
Motorhead - "Limb from Limb" from Overkill
Beatles - "A Day in the Life" from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and "The End" from Abbey Road
Genesis - "Duke's End" from Duke
Black Sabbath - "Under the Sun" from Vol. 4
The Doors - "When the Music's Over" from Strange Days
Megadeth - "Hook in Mouth" from So Far So Good, So What!
Pink Floyd - "Eclipse" from Dark Side of the Moon
Rush - "Working Man" from Rush
Yes - "Perpetual Change" from The Yes Album
The Ramones - "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World" from Ramones
Paul McCarney and Wings - "Nineteen Hundred Eighty Five" from Band on the Run

Songs I feel should've been closers
Guns 'n' Roses "Paradise City" and "Yesterdays" from Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusions II respectively
Metallica "Fade to Black" from Ride the Lightning
Bon Jovi "Silent Night" from 7800 Fahrenheit
Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" from A Night at the Opera (almost, but "God Save the Queen" came right after)
Doors "Unknown Soldier" from Waiting for the Sun
Led Zeppelin "Wearing and Tearing" had it been included on In Through the Out Door (I don't really count Coda)

If they had ended Use Your Illusion II without the useless alternative Don't Cry and Axl's stupid egotripping My World, You Could Be Mine would have been a killer endingsong

I actually think that should've been the album opener.

    Dissident Aggressor - Judas Priest

Just a beast of a song off of their third album, Sin After Sin. A deadly ending, and it should be noted that this album probably contains my favorite bookends; starting with The Sinner and finishing with Dissident Aggressor!

It's funny to look at pictures and what little video exists of the band as late as 1978 (and this album is from 1977) and see how they were dressing. Their music was WAY ahead of their look!

I probably won't get much agreement on this because I suspect it's commonly considered the weakest cut on the album, but I've always thought "Everybody I Love You" was a great way to end CSNY's Deja Vu.
