For their sheer contempt for the very concept

 

Saw this one not too long ago. Very original, spaced out and totally cool. Their early 45's were as freaky as Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd but they don't get the credit they deserve IMO

 

No contest. Nothing will ever top this. Keith blows a tuba without a mouthpiece, and the sound of an oboe emerges from it. Freeze the frame at 1:16 and tell me you don't want to blow that image up and use it as desktop (or iphone) wallpaper:

This is said to be one of greatest performances of all time.

Nope. The lip sync kills it. If only...
