From what others have said, they are identical so if you already have the first three, I can understand you not wanting to spend the money again. The remaining three seasons reportedly will be released as stand-alones but when remains to be seen. The last season - #6 - seems off a bit, like they were getting tired of the show and the last two episodes are simply pilots for series that never happened and are forgettable.

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

I hate the flippers of the first 2! the current price at Amazon is good, but I feel it will go down to $50.00 eventually or maybe not.

Gotcha. They're all one sided on the box set much like the Gilligan's Island complete set.

Until I read your response, I thought you were mad at people who are selling ("flipping") the first two individual seasons of the original DVD releases... I had a bit of a Mr. Kimball moment I guess...

"Well, it's not really flipping, that's more of something you'd do with a waffle. Well not really a waffle, more of a pancake I guess...".

Posting the opening here to point something that's been driving me crazy for decades....

At :56 Eddie reaches out with his left hand....when they then cut to Lisa, he grabs her with his right hand.

Geez, I never noticed that in 20+ years of watching the show! Nice catch! I was going to add it to the IMDB Goofs page but it's already listed! :)

"This is your lucky day. I've got a gen-u-ine pancake flipper from the Martha Washington collection. She collected them from the Indians after trading some of George's hair pieces. Helped keep the scalping down to a minimum. I can let you have it for say, 50 dollars?"

I guess it isn't "Mister"? :) I guess I could look it up to find out but I have no idea off the top of my head.

Not sure if this is of any interest, but last night I went to the store and looked at their DVD selection-They had the first season of "Green Acres" on their shelves for $14.99... This wasn't a new Shout Factory release, but rather the original MGM release from 2004...

I haven't watched it yet, but on the complete series box set there's a featurette called "Green Acres is the Place to Be" with the author (Stephen Cox) of a book called "The Hooterville Handbook". My question is this-Does anybody reading this thread own that book, and if so, what are your thoughts/opinions of it? Worthwhile? Don't waste your time?

Also, does anybody know if there are other "Green Acres" books in the world other than that one?
