I never met a horn and pan-fluted quasi-religious, (seemingly) heritage worship ritual that I cared about and yet when the song turns the corner after 3:30 I eagerly get swept away by it. Gonna have to check this out when the time comes.

The Offering. Debut album on Century Media August 2nd. Produced by Fredrik Nordström. The reviews are describing these guys all over the map. Angry Metal Guy calls this song “progressive powerslammetalthrashcore” lol. Autobuy for me.

Nothing spectacular to report. Just that I keep creeping back to this album for another hit. This song now. 10 minutes of groove packed into its 5 minute frame. Howling from Wildwood, Missouri indeed! Charred Bones Have Built These Temples, by Howling

Move over Cowboy Junkies. Erdve performs church services too. For a charity, infants with developmental delays. I had to look to find what was my connection to this hardcorish band. I liked the opening track of their last album. It's played at 14:30 without the precision that made the studio version irresistible.

I'm going to stand on a busy street corner dressed as dead Elvis and admonish the passing crowds for their many musical sins.

    Precisely! :edthumbs:

I pulled two more off the ten song album. Each a boozy 3am malt waltz to nowhere. Derivative and calming I was merely listening to the sweet bass when they grew on me.

Took the carriage once around the park and ended up with a pair that will require patience and understanding. Or I'll send the little darlings to the workhouse.

I very much like this Death-Doom song Scars Whispering Secret Tongues. False Confession, by WEEPING SORES There is only the bandcamp; I spare you the discomfort I suffered searching for videos by this band Weeping Sores. :uhhuh:

Temple Of Void have completed their new album. Everything but the vocals that is. Just some pics taken during recording plus some merch. I like seeing the acoustic guitar and pendulous breast drums (I don't know what they're called).
