I've barely begun dealing with the Poles and two more irresistible items of 2018 join the line. These fightin' Fins have me walking smartly.
I was expelled from Poland empty-handed. That's okay. I let eleven crazed squirrels run up and down my pant legs for between 2:00 - 4:00 each and I liked it. Morbosidad, from Oakland, California (early), Houston, Texas (later). USA! USA! Don't like a song? It's over in a jiffy! December 15th, 2017
Crazy week of the Darkthrone catalog mixed with the new live Ghost album. Tonight will be ton of Black Metal... and brown liquor.
Love that Ghost live release, picked up the cd last Fri and have been listening to it all week. I should have the new Hooded Menace in my grubby hands today, so tonite I'll put on my hooded robe and drink profusely until I stagger around like the blind dead.
Why don't I care for Ghost? In theory, they are a band I should really like a lot and I just can't get into them.
Shame. First album is killer. I see you are in the KC area. You going to see Septicflesh and/or Watain in March?
It's a distinct possibility. The Riot Room where they are playing is just down the street from where I work. Definitely going to the Enslaved show in Lawrence in February.
I'll be at the Riot Room shows. Would love to go to Enslaved, but can't do Monday/Friday/Monday off of work. . Lawrence is about 4 hour drive for me.
Any of you "cool" people ever find yourself in middle Missouri, hit me up. Lol. Brown liquor and Black Metal nearly every weekend at the Brown Lodge...
I suppose I should give it a listen. I rarely like live albums much. Live albums started out well enough with my first three being KISS Alive!, Rush All the World's a Stage and The Alice Cooper Show. After that, not much. Shamefully, I haven't even bought the Black Sabbath The End bluray yet. Probably when I need to spend $20 more for free shipping from Amazon I'll add it. Just might buy these two. Awaken, by Agrimonia
I must have listened to 50 albums in the past two weeks and in the end accepted none of them. Except the one band recommend by who he who does his grocery shopping in a hooded robe. From Mork's 2013 debut.
Killer track off the new Hooded Menace. The first to grab my attention anyway. Hope other songs follow.
Time for the first ever Grrrrrr Convention, we'll all meet up, drink, discuss extreme metal, and possibly summon a daemon. It's good, they have a new vocalist and there's actually guitar solos on some of the songs. They cover Celtic Frost's Sorrows of the Moon.
That would be the best! I didn't know that's a different vocalist. Yes the guitar was what had me sit up and get pulled in. Will be spending more time with. Archgoat called to me from out of the blue...er, black and I heeded the summoning.
Not Black, not Death but probably over the line for those who like safe Dad-Rock and Dad-Metal. I'm liking both of these 2017 albums which are packed with Classic Rock lead guitar. Bestial Fükkin' Warmachine, by Bütcher "Heavy blackened speed metal, influenced by the metal godz of old." "Bütcher's first full-length album! A furious frenzy of speed, black & heavy metal - all brewed in a cauldron of analog & vintage recording material. An acquired taste, to be savoured by old skool metal maniaks! If you're into Agent Steel, Celtic Frost, Nifelheim, Venom, Exciter, Darkthrone, Manowar, Deströyer 666, Slayer,... go ahead, check us out!"
