Nice demo. Why is some music being released on tape cassettes? How many people have a tape deck? Heh, tempted by that new patch on the right.
Indeed. It might be their best, if not, definitely in their top 5. The rest of my haul from the deepdiscount sale: Thunderbolt - Saxon Four Phantoms - Bell Witch The June Frost - Mournful Congregation The Call Of The Wretched Sea - Ahab
Yes Temple of Void. I have to get some kind of wall display together for these many things. She's a heck of an analyst. I listened to the full album earlier and it was the two songs which were pre-released that I liked most so I was disappointed by that. Now after her review I think she could be right and I'm wrong. I'll have to give it the full on again. As she mentioned Dark Descent Records and I scroll through I count 13 bands I have. I'll have to put DD in my news feed. I listened to this last night. I'm not much of a straight Doom guy and some of it was indeed too much for me but some of it was really good. The opening song is terrific.
I can't resist a compelling argument! Ordered. "Sticker and patches bundle from Temple Of Void. Save money, buy more stuff. Get one 5.5" x 4.25" vinyl necromancer sticker, one 4" x 4" necromancer patch, and one 4" x 4" Of Terror and the Supernatural patch for the low, low price of $6.66"
Cool! They are charming. Meanwhile this 2016 album "For Thine Is the Darkness" is throwing some serious charm upon me. I imagine there are many bands called Graveyard. These guys are from Spain.
According to Encyclopaedia Metallum: 7 bands directly called Graveyard, and 18 variants thereof. Search results - Encyclopaedia Metallum: The Metal Archives
That's all! I thought there'd be 17. What is going on? I'm getting along fine with them based on their 2013 album and an EP coming out this April. Lots of traditional Heavy Metal stuff in the mix. Taken from "Back to the Mausoleum" - out on WAR ANTHEM RECORDS on CD and Vinyl April 27th 2018: GRAVEYARD(es) - AN EPIPHANY OF RETRIBUTION That sucks. Sorry to hear it.
Listening to Japanese Post-Black Metal. The band's name 明日の叙景 is "Me and the one I used to be" and for the Lenny Nero tradition of best comment that would be "Music is super cool, but the vocals often sound like a rooster crowing."

Nice! I like those write-ups. Been giving the Ævangelist album a go but man it is tough. I've got bruises on my bruises! De Masticatione Mortuorum In Tumulis, by ÆVANGELIST I continued the exploration of Spanish "Graveyard" and they do have some enjoyable songs. "Old School Death Metal" may be a label or tag but it gets weird when a song like this from their 2009 debut does really sound like it is from 1994.
Also listening to Sentient Horror's debut from December 2016 in anticipation of a new EP at the end of March.
