Thanos sacrificed her to get one of the stones needed to do the SNAP. But for whatever reason, UN-doing the SNAP brought her back. I think. Not sure why, since one would have to not only undo the SNAP, but go back in time to undo events leading up to it. Someone else explain it better. I really liked Infinity War, but my mind pretty much checks out on all of Endgame and everything after Infinity War.
She’s from the same timeline as the younger Thanos in End Game. The current version never met the Guardians before the events of End Game and therefore doesn’t have a bond with the group.
Like a lot of Marvel stuff, I don't need a trailer. I'm there already. But this one didn't give us a whole lot new. Besides, Drax already asked the big question: "Why is Gamora [there]?" Well, almost asked unless Quill just ran off and grabbed her from somewhere, which, you know, rude.

Reviews are coming in, currently 80% on RT (95 reviews). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 New York Post: The misfit team’s constant punchlines and I’m-just-busting-your-chops dynamic have grown exhausting. They’ve become the guy at the party who thinks he’s hilarious but is actually just drunk. Vanity Fair: Half of Vol. 3 is an outright drama, heavy with themes of loss and terror. It’s an odd, lumbering patchwork of a film, occasionally fascinating but otherwise bloated and aimless. The Atlantic: Guardians 3 is a cheerful goodbye to many of the studio’s best heroes, who somehow managed to get through an entire series without being ruined by the larger superhero universe they inhabit. For Marvel, that’s both a win and a problem. BBC.com: This one may be the most unruly and excessive of the trilogy, but it is as sweetly touching as any film with so many slimy, tentacled monsters in it could be.
Sounds to be a befitting end to the trilogy. "Half of Vol. 3 is an outright drama, heavy with themes of loss and terror. It’s an odd, lumbering patchwork of a film, occasionally fascinating but otherwise bloated and aimless." I think that could describe several of the MCU films since Disney started exerting more influence.
I keep seeing this blurb being repeated all over the internet and it makes zero sense to me given that Disney acquired Marvel Entertainment in 2009 for $4 Billion. The "level" of influence is pure speculation and nonsensical since they own it, they basically create these very high budget movies in the hopes of satisfying as many viewers as possible on a worldwide scale. Maybe someday an insider will escape their NDA & write a book on the inner workings of Marvel and how they go about creating & making their movies t'il then...
