Guides to foreign and independent films?

Can anyone recommend books on the best foreign and independent films to watch on streaming services? I have Netflix and iTunes for movies, but it’s not easy finding great movies to watch, as we have very little interest in Hollywood movies. Searching Amazon books yields results for guides to independent film making. Not what I’m looking for! Looking for compendium of written reviews of sub-titled foreign films (hate dubbing!) and independent films, those films made outside the Hollywood system.
