    Hi
When I listen to my system, the CD sounds awful compare to when I listen from YouTube from my computer speaker. The YouTube one sounds loud but good. Is there any other version of Lies CD ever produced,?

Quite likely the bulk of these use the same master. What sounds so terrible about the original? I don't have it myself so have no idea what you are talking about.

Sounds small and bright or harsh.

I don’t own the CD but if you can play vinyl try to find a Marino mastered copy. Killer.

  5. I second mick_sh's recommendation. I have heard the vinyl and it does sound pretty terrific. I have no idea who mastered the CD.

Barry Diament, and it sounds amazing.

  7. Mmmm...usually Barry's work is outstanding so I don't know why this would sound shrill and "small". Interesting. perhaps there was another master that (or a secret remaster) was done and the OP got that?

    Nope.

It's always been Barry's mastering, and it sounds fantastic.

    3. Diament version (Diament had not mastered vinyl)

honestly i dont would buy this new remastered version if it is over 48khz , 96khz is already to much, 192 is a waste for me :p
