    Marathon of various Bob Newhart shows including the harder to see "Bob"- this weekend on the DECADES channel. It starts with an episode of "The Dick Cavett Show" featuring Newhart. (1pm) Then episodes of BOB (1:30pm to 8pm) "The Bob Newhart Show" and "Newhart" thru Sunday Evening. More "Bob" at (7pm Sunday thru 6am) followed by the same "Dick Cavett" w Newhart.

    I think for his birthday, he deserves a new show! On either the Hallmark Channel, or iON! We could call it, BobHart..or, NewBob...! Whaddya say, industry? Cutting-edge humor from a nonagenarian! Maybe he could do riffs with Betty White! Just imagine the life insurance companies lining up to sponsor it! Major corporate funding from Werther's Originals candies, Cracker Barrel and Dentu-Creme! Guest shots on CSPAN to promote it! A theme song by Tony Bennett! Could be huge(er than Susanne Pleshette's sweater)!!!

    Respect, but let’s be honest, the early telephone skits were long and a bit of a beating. I liked both of his shows, but the first one beats the second by a mile.
