He was in an episode of 30 Rock and he looked jowly and tired. Nice sparks between him and Markie Post though. RIP.

He was a very talented guy.....not just as an actor and comedian, but he was also a pretty good magician. RIP Harry.

Very sad news. He was really great. He's the kind of guy you'd think would live forever. RIP.

I always wanted more of his character on CHEERS. Not that I'd begrudge him his own series and the bigger paycheck that presumably went with it, but I thought CHEERS should have kept him and expanded his role, like they did for Cliff, Frasier and Lilith. Just team him up with Norm and Cliff.

I'm a big fan of the Diane era of Cheers, so that's my first thought of Harry.

Night Court was one of my favorite shows in the 1980's. This is such a bummer. He was way too young to be taken from us. :sigh:

I loved Night Court. He'd lived in the Asheville area for some time now. Really bummed to hear this.

    RIP Harry Anderson...!

Can we get an appeal....from St. Peter?

Seriously did not know what Harry has been up to in a few years, but... Wow....sad terrible news.

A positive, energetic actor, funny and talented too.

I was very sad to hear the news this morning. Night Court never hit it big in german-speaking countries, thus, I had/have to find alternate ways to watch the show. So far, I've only seen season 2, but I love everything about the show and Harry was so dang funny in it! Almost like Lynch's On the Air in places, don't you think? So anyway, I found this to cheer myself (and hopefully some as you as well) up a lil' bit after the tragic loss:

(he plays the Night Court theme before it's assumed I post random, unrelated clips to threadcrap or something like that ;) )

It's saying he died of natural causes and no foul play was involved.

Harry also reportedly had Dyslexia, a Learning Disorder that affected his ability to read, but in spite of the disorder found great success in life, both professionally and personally.
