I stopped into a Barnes & Noble store the other day for the first time since the pandemic hit. This store no longer has a music/movie department. They have one bookshelf of movies (Blu-Ray and DVD), one small tabletop display of records, and no CDs. Is this standard for Barnes & Noble now?

The closest Barnes and Noble to me (Lakewood, WA) hasn’t sold CDs in years. All they have is the tabletop display of LPs.

The Seattle store (downtown), which did sell CDs, has closed.
