Yes, I almost gave up but found it gets much better from episode 4 on.

The season finale is most excellent.

I couldn't make it through the first episode. It would hard to imagine an assemblage of less likeable people at one time.

The final scene with the Dad was great.

As a lot of critics have said, this show didn't hit it's stride until around the fourth episode. I was a bit skeptical as well, but something made me keep watching and I am glad I did.

The show made some nice statements about power. My favorite was Siobhans' "Maybe I should have brought this up before the ceremony" talk with her useless, way beneath her, cuckold of a husband whereupon he immediately uses what he has now attained to frighten and humiliate his problem. I also love the way that her nickname sounds like "shiv", as in sharp object used for stabbing.

... and only after asking permission. His line "I'll hire someone to break your legs" was just perfect. Tom is such a fascinating character, with his mixture of pomposity and naivete.

Love this series! Just watched the finale the other night. It's very intelligent with great acting. Interesting mix between business and family drama. Almost everyone on the show is a evil backstabber and it's fascinating. Looking forward to season 2!

Best show I’ve seen in a long time - a modern classic. Only fear is future seasons will have a tough time matching its first.

I've started to rewatch the ten episodes - it's that good and second time round I got much more from the first two episodes which were a slightly difficult watch initially when adapting to the scheming ways of the characters and the tone of the show generally.

I’ve never been more wrong about a TV show. I bailed after 2 episodes but restarted a few days ago and now is no. 1 show of 2018. I realized I needed to rewatch this after Episode 8 with the bachelor party aired and The Ringer website had an “emergency podcast” about what went down.

Glad to see some other folks enjoy Succession. I was feeling rather lonely in this thread. Have the ratings been any good? Is there much positive buzz out there on this show? I don't want it to get axed.

This show is very hot right now and it’s renewed for a 2nd season. I think it’s going to huge by awards time.

Best show I’ve seen this year. Tom and Greg are my favourites. I love the bachelor party episode and poor old Toms misadventures.
