HDTracks News (part 5)

I still need the WOF download but balked at getting it since I have the DCC. How does the download compare to the DCC?

 

I had the excellent DCC at one time and going by memory only, I can't put one over the other, but I am very happy with the downloaded version.

 

I will probably buy it even though I have the DCC. I will post any differences I hear. Thanks.

So what's the verdict on the first 4 Aerosmith albums?

That 15% coupon is burning a hole in my pocket and I haven't replaced my originals of those LPs...which have seen much better days.

 

Get em. They make anything before sound like poo poo. Even any vinyl I have heard.

They are definitely good. The only one I have compared to an original LP is Rocks and they are close but HDTracks may have it beat by just a hair.

 

I tried using it a second time and no luck.

 

What 15% coupon is still valid?

 

Can you confirm if the HD tracks version has Pandora's Box on Get Your Wings? The version from Acoustic Sounds I downloaded had it missing and replaced by Woman of the World. I am waiting to hear back from them.

Yes they should be. For some reason WOTW is on the download twice and is in the spot where Pandoras Box should be. Another member has stated the same problem on the Acoustic Sounds download.

Booo! Fortunately 15% isn't really that rare. I've gotten to the point where I don't even consider buying without a 10% discount. (I need something to keep me from getting click-happy.) But a single-use 15% does tend to make me overindulge...

 

Me too...I can't think of a single album I've ever downloaded without a minimum of 10% off .

Thanks for the review. Not hard sounding at all. Except where it's supposed to be. This really destroys both other versions. You can really crank it and nothing falls apart. On the Anesini or the original if you go too loud Tyler's voice will have you running from the room Great!
