    Hi All,
I need your help! Andrew Croft, publisher of Beatlology Magazine has offered us, over at the Save-The-Beatles-Catalog Yahoo group, a chance to have the FEATURE article in the next issue of the magazine.

Here is the posting Andrew made:

    Hi gang,

As David mentioned, I am willing to offer exposure for this group in
    issues of Beatlology Magazine.

For those of you not familiar with the magazine, we have been publishing
for 5 years now, just finished the 31st issue. We publish all kinds of
articles on The Beatles, solo Beatles, their events and history, as well
as full colour feature articles on collectibles. If anyone in this group
who would like a sample issue, please forward your snail mail address.

Perhaps, as way of introducing the concept of this group, some sort of
article outlining the current 'state' of Beatles recordings may offer
some insight for fans as to why this group has come [or is coming] to
fruition. The casual fan is familiar with the original records and tapes
and is not that aware of the quality issued - most thinking CDs, being a
new format, are superior in quality to pretty anything that preceded it.
So if anyone can formulate an article on how The Beatles recordings have
been offered over the years we can present this as a strong case for why
such work is required. If the article is well-prepared and lengthy
enough it can quite possibly become the feature for the Nov./Dec. issue.
I can support it with images of the various formats.

I look forward to working with everyone on this project.

    Yours truly,
    Andrew Croft, Publisher

I know that we have many Beatles experts on the Forum. Would someone like to write an article for Andrew? I'll certainly be willing to help. If someone would like to write about the state of the Beatles catalog, explaining how we seek out original UK pressings, the German MMT, etc. The article could even include a detailed list of the "best" sonic version of each LP or song. I'll help with the bit about the Yahoo group.

The author will get a byline in a professionally published magazine.

Please let me know if you are willing to help and I'll coordinate it with Andrew.

    Thank you very much!!!!
