Anybody know anything about the vinyl release of TSO's 'The Ghosts of Christmas Eve' due for 11/11/16? I know that Audio Fidelity did a bang up job when they released 'The Christmas Attic' a few years ago and I was really happy that I bit the bullet and picked it up.

IMWAN has posted about an upcoming Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood Christmas CD:

    1. I'm Beginning To See The Light
    2. Ugly Christmas Sweater
    3. Santa Baby
    4. Feliz Navidad
    5. What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?
    6. Marshmallow World
    7. Merry Christmas Means I Love You
    8. Hard Candy Christmas
    9. Baby, It's Cold Outside
    10. The Man With The Bag
    11. What I'm Thankful For (with James Taylor)

I can't find any pre-orders yet. Since Garth hasn't released any of his stuff on vinyl, I doubt this will get a vinyl release.

I really wish they'd release the whole "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" instead of this.

I went to FYE and Barnes and Noble and no sighting of the coveted (by me) Ray Conniff Complete Columbia Christmas Recordings. However they did have a whole slew of Christmas CDs. I guess Mr Conniff will be an internet purchase

I've received this one today and was pleasantly surprised to notice that the disc was HDCD encoded. Pretty nice album too.

For those excited about Jane Lynch's "A Swingin' Little Christmas" coming to vinyl, I'm gonna go ahead and take complete credit for this happening! Ha! I don't usually gloat, but I had missed this previous Tweet after I begged for it on vinyl:

    [IMG]Nathan Aaron‏@luxeillustrato

@janemarielynch @KateFlannery @TonyGuerrero @loudmouthmuch With the retro vibe and LPs you're playing in all the videos, we need vinyl!

We just priced out the vinyl and yes, we're gonna do it! Will let you know when available. #aswinginlittlechristmas

    ______

FYI (in case this wasn't mentioned) they are limited edition, and will be autographed! (Though I'm not sure who all will be autographing the LPs, all three or only Jane.)

Did you see where the classic Ray Conniff LP, "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" is being issued by Friday Music, on Dec. 2, on white vinyl? Should be good!

    - I seriously think this is totally cool! Love white vinyl, and I'm sure you already own one, but you know you can find those so, so very easily in thrift stores. Like everywhere. I'm always running into them! :D The originals, I mean.

Sir, I salute you! I have ordered, even knowing it won't get to me by Christmas; there's no international delivery, so I'm having it delivered to a friend who's sending it on.

    - They just decided on the vinyl at the end of October. I realize the site says "sometime around the second week of December" but I honestly don't even expect to get this by then, if this year! We all know how vinyl pressing plants are today, and this was a last minute decision! But it'll be a nice surprise for one day when it pops up at my door! :)

I figured Barnes and Noble would have it since they are stocking the new Sarah McLaughlan Christmas album

They'll have something like that - a new release from a well known artist on a major label. It's catalog titles, or lesser know artists, that are close to impossible to find in stores anymore
