I feel like the laugh track was way more noticeable in later episodes

 

It was probably to make the show more funnier.

 

I don't think I realized until recently -- probably because I haven't watched the show in years -- that Jill's sister Nancy (who appeared in 4 episodes) was played by Jensen Daggett. I've always had a bit of a crush on her, ever since she played the main girl in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. She looks a lot like a girlfriend I had when I was 20.

 

I found that out about 3 years ago. She's a babe

 

So my dad doesn’t find Home Improvement to be funny.

He used to find the show funny back in the day when it was on, not so much anymore.

 

Totally! It's too bad her list of film roles is relatively small. Aside from the F13 movie, the only other film I've seen her in was the 1997 made-for-TV disaster flick Asteroid with Michael Biehn.

 

I bet Tim enjoyed that view he got when she was in the shower

 

It's really depressing watching the later episodes. Like man, it basically became your typical family tv comedy

And Tim softened up so much to. He became less of a gearhead and tools guy it seemed

But yea let's give Jill more storylines!! She's awesome!

 

How about this. Tim divorces Jill, Nancy divorces Marty and Tim and Nancy marry!!

 

Also one of Jills sisters was played by Richard Karn's (Al) wife

She's the one who got with Tims brother Jeff

 

What did you all think of Marty?

 

And my mom along with him said that the show is dated.

 

And it seems like there were not a lot of storylines with the boys either later on.

 

the boys had nothing in common with Tim

Brad was a soccer player
Randy was a liberal
Mark was Goth

 

Sounds to me like his twin girls were replacements for the now older and grown boys.

 

And emo too.

 

I read somewhere it was considered that Marty and the girls would move in and be full time. If they had gone 1 more season

 

I can only picture the 9th season and what it would be like.

 

About as bad as last season of Rosanne

 

Like I posted in the "What If?" thread, Brad would be playing soccer and off at college. Randy would be in Costa Rica with his girlfriend.

Who knows where Mark would've been and doing?

 

They could have gone darastic. Mark becomes a third guy on home improvement

 

Maybe helping Tim along with Al.
