Honeymooners remastered dvd?

Agreed, I'm afraid added clarity might only expose how fake the set is or how much makeup everyone's wearing...the atmosphere of the show actually lends itself to grainy 16mm prints.

I don't agree at all. If a new remastered transfer tells you the truth, there's nothing wrong with that. The image on the original 39 Honeymooners still exists on 35mm B&W camera negative, and those will always look better in HD than they would on standard def. Trust me, you'll be laughing hard enough that you won't notice how cheap and crappy those old Dumont studio sets were.

 

compared to the Lost Episodes Box the 39 look great! they must have used sheets for wall as every time the door opened or closed in Ralphs apt. the walls would move! they got a wall upgrade for the 39...
