How do I go about figuring how much my sealed Rubber Soul record is worth?

For starters, is it a UK or US version?

Stick it on eBay. The final sale price is what it is worth :)

    It’s a Capitol stereo version…not from
the eighties or it would have had a bar code on the back.

For whatever it’s worth, most sealed Capitol’s I’ve personally come across are from the late seventies period on the large dome purple label. If my x-ray vision told me this was the case, the most I’d pay for it would be about sixty bucks. If, on the other hand , it was a pre-seventies 60’s rainbow, it could go for far more.

Contact Perry Cox@Ebay. Quite the Beatles expert. Probably over $50 under $100

    I can't see the images.
On the back cover, on the bottom right corner, what number is there?

In the '60s, there would be a number, one digit only, in the bottom right corner of the back cover, it would indicate where the album was made, numbers 1 through 6. In the early-mid '70s there was a new set of numbers above number 6, in the late '70s there was a new set getting into the upper teens (17, for example). I seem to recall it went into the '20s in the '80s. Take this as a rough guide, it's not an exhaustive account.
If there's no number, you probably have a later pressing, unless they missed that detail at one of the pressing plants.

Here’s my 2¢. It’s probably not worth a whole lot. I buy sealed vintage LPs pretty often, usually from the 60s and early 70s. I also just filled in my Beatles collection with UK pressings and some 2014 monos. 3 of the UK pressings I bought were sealed imports from the mid 70s. I paid around $80 each for Sgt Pepper, Rubber Soul, and Help. Being that this seems like a typical 70s US stereo pressing and really nothing special, it would almost definitely be worth less than those sealed UKs. Maybe $40 if I had to guess? The US Revolver is considered the worst US album but a lot of people because it’s literally the same album as the UK version, but missing 3 tracks.

If it was a first pressing or a mono copy or something it could be worth quite a bit, but it’s just an average 70s Capitol stereo pressing.

You should take it to the nearest record store and tell the guy who works there that it goes for thousands of dollars on Ebay. Scrape together a couple beat up Elvis Girl Happy soundtracks too and act like you need a meth fix. I dare you.
