Hurry: Is anyone on this Pet Sounds DCC?

I'm not as I already have it.

 

I have been watching that one since day one. I will be bidding, but I am waiting for the last possible minute. Not sure of what the quality of the disc will be, even though the seller confirmed to me in an e-mail that it is definitely the DCC disc and in good condition.

It appears, though, that he is an ebayer who has never sold anything before this. I noticed had a lot of Beach Boys stuff up for auction, but got very few bids.

Geez, no info. whatsoever. Do you get the inserts? What about the condition? I guess you try to get it cheap and take a chance that all is O.K. Heck, if you get just the disc (no inserts) for $15, you've done well.

When I e-mailed the seller - his response was very to the point and didn't offer up much information, so I am a bit wary.

 

Well, I snagged it for $15.86 + $6.00 shipping.

I guess it will be a good deal, if the disc is in good shape. Let's hope it is, and that it comes with the inserts.

That's a good price! I saw this auction, too, but the lack of info spooked me. I am presently on the lookout for DCC Pet Sounds.

Yeah I was a bit wary, as I said.. and who knows how it will turn out. First of all my payment is "pending" so that can't be a good sign. Second of all I haven't heard one thing since the auction ended from the seller.

We will have to see what happens. The "pending" status of my payment is what concerns me.

 

Is your address confirmed? If not, he may be setup to manually accept or deny, unconfirmed addresses.

 

My address is confirmed. I have had no problems at all on the other PayPal transactions I executed. They all came up PAID the minute I completed the transaction. Yet this one sits in Pending status.

I wonder, since it appears from his feedback, that because he just started selling (as opposed to buying via ebay) he didn't set-up his PayPal account correctly to accept payments from buyers - even though he claims to accept PayPal. I just wish he would either accept or deny my PayPal payment, so I know whether I have to send him a Money Order.

What also worries me, a little, is that he responded to my initial inquiry about this disc - yet subsequent questions did not get answered, and now additional e-mails after winning the auction have also gone unanswered. Oh well, it is only like 11 hours since I won the auction - so we will see.

 

The seller finally accepted my PayPal payment - so all should be in order. Now I eagerly await the CD.

Hope it is in mint shape.

 

WHOA. The CD showed up in record time. For $15.86 + 6.00 shipping ($21.86 total) I think I snagged the bargain of the century.

This disc is in Mint minus condition - I say minus because there are a few very, very, very light marks on the disc that would in no way effect playback. The inserts and lift-lock jewel case are in Mint condition. I am very pleased.

As it is late (I just got home from my Thursday night bowling leauge), I will not be able to play the disc today - but tomorrow is another story.
