Well I did it, got up the nerve to start selling stuff on ebay. I am starting out small, just to see what happens (selling only 2 items to start).

I feel funny doing self-promotion so I am not posting a link to my items, but if pushed enough I will. ;)

Wish me luck, and if you see my items feel free to bid (REAL BIG). :D

OK Mike, I started the bidding on your Stones sampler. We'll see how it goes.

Good Luck. Most folks on eBay are good people.

That's an interesting George Michael promo CD. I see that your disc has blue text and no color coating. My CD price guide shows what looks to be the same promo (same catalog number), except the disc has a metallic blue coating and "aluminum" text. Does anyone know why there are two versions? Is one more rare than the other?

Keith - I can't answer your question about the different versions of this disc, but you are correct.... the version I have has blue text with no other coating on the disc. The matrix numbers on the disc I have are: CBS-CSK2850 SOI01.

    Mike,
Don't be afraid to "sell" your item in the text of the auction. When I'm in buying mode, there a sometimes descriptions of items that make me feel I can't live without them. For instance, you can play up the fact that the Rolling Stones Sampler has mixes and versions of some of the songs that were later changed for the official release. You need to appeal to a potential customer's desire to become a consumer. BUY BUY BUY!

Thanks for the advice. I guess on the next go round I will use some of your suggestions.

Since my items have bids now I don't know if I want to go back in and revise the descriptions (assuming that I can).
