Have always loved this one from Iain's Jules Shear album.
This covers it so beautifully, once more. I've never heard anyone who is able
to make every song he covers so much his own, as Iain does....
these are now Iain's.

He owns them.

(Jules...)

The single released... a snappy little number. So Fine.

 

track 11) Meet On The Ledge
(Richard Thompson)

Loved this when Sandy & Iain traded lead vocals in the classic Fairport LP.
This is so fine also...such a moving song here, as always as performed by Iain.

 

track 12) Standing Still
(Jules Shear)

So fine...(last of the show, but more still to come as bonus tracks).
I must say that when I first heard the Jules Shear tribute LP by Iain
I thought this and all the tracks were Iain's own...now they are.

 

Four wonderful bonus tracks, personally selected by Iain for the DCC expanded USA release.
Recorded live at the famous McCabe's Guitar Shop and music venue. in Santa Monica.

Love this one from Pure & Crooked....lovely live here!

Did I forget to tell you all that this is a MUST HAVE album by this fantastic pairing.

...so fine.
God knows it ain't an easy feat, but Iain just gets better and better with age.
He has reached those extremely rare and fine vintage years...sip it slowly and take in every subtle nuance.

Oh yeah...folk bluesy, beautiful and so fine.

Jesse has so much love for this song by Jesse...I've lost count how many times he's covered it, and so damn well.

This one kills me with such a cool vibe & sound...so surprising!
...sounds like something I grew up with, yet it is totally new with each hearing.
