Written on the 66 tour. Is this the link between 'BoB' and 'JWH'? Not sure which of those two albums it fits on most? Excuse me while I muse on the subject...

Considering it sounds an aweful lot like Absolutely Sweet Marie and more the highland type overtones to what lyrics I can understand; I see no connection to JWH material. Wouldnt fit lyrically, topically nor melodically. Sorry, I dont see the link. Just a lot of Dylans free flowing thoughts to see what comes out.

Doesn't sound anything like the JWH material. It has the same feel and structure as the other songs he was tinkering around with backstage on that tour ("Does She Need Me/On A Rainy Afternoon," "I Can't Leave Her Behind"), which seemed to get lost by the wayside. Definitely belongs in that BoB trajectory, IMO, which ruptures with the motorcycle crash.

It's something that I can imagine among the "Lost On The River" material. Not sure how the timeline works out (not sure we'll ever know that for sure).
