Here's one you don't see every day. If you won this eBay auction would you open it up and listen or keep it sealed?
    Cheers-

Depends, is it an investment for resale value, or for listening pleasure?

Not for nothing, Larry, but I sure miss your previous avatar...

    (Norm: I'd keep it sealed)

I don't collect sealed copies of anything either so I would end up playing it.

If you bid on this auction, you are going to be paying a HEFTY premium for the fact that the CD is still in the sealed longbox. If you just want to listen to the CD, I'd wait to find an opened copy for sale.

 What's HEFTY to you? Even open this one often goes for over $100.00.

The auction is far from over yet...

I would say that if you plan on opening and listening to it, the sealed packaging has negligible worth. Maybe $5-10 tops, just for the peace of mind of knowing is absolutely mint. Maybe.

I predict this package will sell for in excess of $5-10 over the standard opened price...

    I don't care...I dig longboxes...it's irrational, it's unnecessary...it's fun!

I agree - it is very hard to listen to a CD while it is still sealed. ;)

This is me, because I KNOW if I buy something sealed, the temptation is too great to keep it that way. So Mr. Sniper (talking to just Norm here :)), when are you going to bid?

Crazy kid that I am, I listen to the music that I buy, or win, or both.
