Someone previously quoted some axiom that cable threads devolve into hitler being invoked.

Or an attempt to keep fact out of the mix so he can espouse his agenda unchallenged.

When was your last hearing test?
I get them annually and hear no difference.

I’m sorry you can’t hear differences. I see why you turn to math and paper to tell you.

And how do you quantify good vs bad sound?
    You're personal opinion?
That same metric is applied to music and pie.

I'm sorry you're hearing them when none exist.
I hear them when actually present.

Look some of you guys came into this friendly thread where we were happy as clams talking about our experiences and enjoyment of audio and you just couldn’t help yourselves and started crapping everywhere a bunch of math formulas and talking nonsense that we don't care about. You think you have some duty to twist your math to support your thoughts and push it onto us who don't care and you want to change our mind, when its super obvious to us what we hear. GO AWAY. Nobody invited you and your formulas and crappy math, nobody here wants this thread to be about your bull crap. Go find your own thread and stay out a here.

You do not run the forum.
speak for yourself. Stop trying to rabble rouse.
    Stay on point.
The math is accurate: disprove it.
It is not MY math, it is the worlds math.

I do not expect to change minds.
I present fact, people will do what they like with it.
Neither of us control the thoughts of others, that is crazy talk.

I knew the title was equivalent to this:

I haven't bought new interconnects or speaker cable for over 20 years, but I still use the ones I have. The worst ones I ever used were Audioquest.

I use Tributaries 12 gauge speaker cable and MIT Terminator-2 & 4, Straightwire, AR Digital Optical, Belkin digital coax cable interconnects.

The title hurts my feelings because it insinuates that my zip cord is not nice.

NO YOU STAY ON POINT. Your math is NOT what this thread is about, I’m the one who started this thread and requested in the first post that we DONT turn this into a science fair.

I love your Zip Cord.... Just don’t take that as meaning I want to hang curtains with you or anything.

Stop barking orders, it's childish. Calm down.
You do not determine how others act or the course of a thread. Nor do I.
This is an OPEN forum meaning both sides are welcome.

If you believe cables make a difference, fine, it is subjective, opinion.
If you don't that is objective science based.
This is basic electrical engineering, not rocket science.

As I've said, no right or wrong, it's a hobby.

Relax don't let the thread overheat or a fuse will blow. It's been running reasonably well and it can keep going.

    What color is it?
    White sounds better to me.
    Although brown has deeper bass.

I run zip cord in another setup. No problem running zip cord as long as its not CCA (copper clad aluminum). Older zip cord generally makes great speaker cable IMHO. I also run Rat Crap 12 AWG and Tara Labs Time & Space Quantum III. Tara knows their metals (as do others). Can I say that Ive actually heard differences in any of these? No, but I have not compared them on my new system.
