    I would have loved the Supergroup that almost happened.

    When the Fabs broke up, the following band was discussed among the following participants.

    At some point, John declined, later stating (paraphrased from memory) "I'd just spent 10 years being stuck with the same musicians, I didn't want to get stuck with another set."

    I would assume the controlling hand of Yoko was involved in that decision -- no reason they couldn't have done a "one-off" album:
