I always liked NAD products with their understated looks, plenty of clean dynamic power. But they have had reoccuring QC issues which I hope they straighten out quickly and take care of once and for all.

Of all the electronic companies out there, Yamaha is still leagues ahead of any other electronic components manufacturer in terms of QC. They have the lowest premature failure rates and still remain the envy of the industry.

Wasn't NAD Canadian owned at one point? Indeed, I like my Yamaha cassette deck and universal player. I used to have a Yamaha powered sub, which I gave away to my brother-in-law a while ago.

Has anyone from NAD explained why there exists problems w/ the Master Series gear?

The products in the NAD premier line from the good old days would never have the quality problems experienced by the current Master Series.

I thought NAD has changed hands a number of times. I saw the name Lenbrook on some NAD product brochures dating back to the early 90's.

 My Master Series blows me away! I can listen to it and tell you how far each player is standing from the other.

Hey, I have the NAD Monitor Series models 1700 and 2100 and the SilverLine Series model S500i. Their age range from 20 year to 6 year and they are all working fine. Monitor Series and SilverLine were the NAD premier lines from the past ...

Is the 326 a big upgrade over the 325?
I've had the 325 for 2 and a half years now and I'm still impressed...

My friend has the 325BEE. I was so blown away when I heard it, I ran out and bought my C372. Did you do the jumper cable mod? Sounds even clearer.

It's an upgrade and clearly better but both are so good for the money that it's ridiculous. My wife has the 325 and I have the 326. She's running Era Design D4's and I'm running the little Harbeth's. Good sound coming from both setups. I put up the $29 for the AQ jumpers and have not regretted it a bit. One difference between the two amps that is important to me is that the 325 has a proprietary power cord and the 326 allows for an upgrade.

Not necessarily. A good friend of mine back in the 90s had some NAD stuff that was made then and it had problems. Sounded great when it worked...but it was my first experience with "good" equipment acting really flakey.

I don't know about any mods, I use it as it came in the box...

Thanks a lot for the explanation! Interesting and something I will keep in mind
