Doug Kershaw has a great reputation as a live performer and do NOT miss him at all. Bobby Bare is still a great performer and his singing is very much up to par.

That's a seriously great lineup. As far as don't-miss acts, if it were me, I'd have to go with:

    Lucinda Williams
    Steve Earle
    Shooter Jennings
    John Doe
    Doug Kershaw
    Jesse Dayton
    Webb Wilder
    Mojo Nixon

And I'll throw in a plug for Folk Uke, for their classic "Sh!t Makes the Flowers Grow", among other finely profane songs. They are a duo with famous parents - Cathy Guthrie is Arlo Guthrie's daughter, and Amy Nelson is Willie's daughter. I've seen them open for X a couple of times, and they always put on a highly entertaining show. Google them, and you should be able to figure out pretty quickly if they float your boat (pun fully intended).

I don’t know how to decide, what a great line up. Is there any room for actual passengers on the ship?

Enjoy and don’t forget to thank your brother!

Old 97s have fantastic songs and go all out in their live shows. Highly recommended.

That's a great line-up, but there's something about outlaw country on a luxury cruise ship that seems a bit off.

    Highly decent line-up.

The first names I'd circle if I was going would be Homemade Sin and Margo Price.

Was the lineup. Mrs. Marmot and I had considered doing subsequent cruises but the core acts always remain the same and it’s too much jack every year for the same artists. The first cruise went from Miami to Grand Cayman. We went on the excursion to Grand Cayman and was hugely disappointed. If we ever went again, we’d stay on the boat for the day.

The highlights were the artist meet and greet, the guitar pull, and of course, all of the music. Dale Watson kind of got the short end of the stick and always played in the wee morning hours, so we didn’t see him. Mrs. Marmot got a hug from Steve Earle, as we ran into the artists all over the boat. Great time!

Edit: on a side note, this cruise is also where I found out that the little ID card that comes with your passport is useless. Always travel with your proper passport and do not waste your money on that ID.

Off the list for this cruise, I would make sure I saw Margo Price, Nikki Lane, Elizabeth Cook, and Old 97s. Secondary acts to make would be Flatlanders, Rosie Flores, Bobby Bare, and Dale Watson. John Doe, Drive By Truckers, and Jim Lauderdale would also be in consideration.
