I got it way back in 1999 - you used to be able to find quite a few CD copies of it on the net. I reckon it's the best album he ever did. "Open The Door" as featured on the Reprise promo is the same version as what was released as an "urban remix" on some compilation recently. "Tell It Like It Is" is longer on the promo than the clumsy edit that was on the "Voice Of Michael McDonald" compilation. "Take It To The Top" and "Give It Up" from the promo that remains unreleased. Tommy Sims did a superb job in producing the album (except for the aforementioned David Pack track) - some really great playing on this album too. God knows why Reprise didn't release this - it was the most contemporary R&B album he ever did and certainly very marketable. Then again, this is the same label that rejected Chaka Khan's superb unreleased album "Dare You To Love Me" (although many of the tracks have been released on compilations).

Saw em in Richmond w/the same set list. The average fans weren't satisfied as teh set wasn't hits heavy but I loved it. It was like an old time show band.
