I like the idea of Indy in the Sixties with the turmoil of that era as a backdrop.

I know that there is about a 0% chance of this happening, but I would love to see them drop "Indiana Jones and the" from the title go with a completely original title similar to "Raiders of the Lost Ark." "Raiders" is the best Indy movie, and it also happens to have the best title.

Grading of the Lost Exam. The entire movie takes place in his classroom. It's a think piece.

I'm willing to bet that even in his 70s, Harrison Ford's still in better shape than quite a few of his detractors here.

I wasn't a fan of "Crystal Skull". I didn't feel "involved" or felt the "vibe" of the first 3 films. Plus Shia Le Beouf is terrible. How this guy got a job acting is beyond me.

If this movie is made, I hope it's darker & grittier than the previous "Crystal Skull".

  14. Cat Blanchett was the highlight of that movie along with Karen Allen returning.

Yikes. I love me some Indy and Lord knows that Harrison Ford is probably still in better shape than I am despite being old enough to be my Dad, but still...

Now that I think about it, I still haven't seen Crystal Skull in its entirety - just bits and pieces while channel surfing. I found the presence of Shia LaDoof (or whatever his name is) more irritating than the jokes about Ford's advancing age.

These films are on a pace for every other one being great.

    Raiders - great
    Temple of Doom - meh
    Last Crusade - great
    Crystal Skull - ugh

I thought that Last Crusade was slightly overrated. Not terrible by any means, but not as great as some have made it out to be. I wonder if it would have been as well-received if it hadn't followed the mediocre Temple of Doom.

The one thing I didn't like about Crusade was that they made the character of Marcus an idiot. Other than that, it was a great last hurrah, for the franchise and the decade that spawned it...until the Crystal Skull appeared.

I thought it was great. Connery and Ford had fantastic chemistry. The story was mysterious and exciting. The treasure hunt, the female lead, the action scenes, and the supernatural resolution were all wonderful.

    Love it.

So the big question is how do the Indiana Jones movies go down in China? As China is now the reason 80% of movies get a greenlight this should be part of the equation. Hence why comedies from Hollywood have plummeted in number due to them not translating across to Chinese audiences.

Explosions, superheroes, monsters and aliens work much better.

I'm guessing that he won't be the action hero in this but his son from The Crystal Skull. I'll also venture a guess that he's going to be retired and he's going to follow his son on one last adventure.
