I figured they'd do "Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth" starring Harrison Ford. SPOILER: Indy finds the fountain within the first five minutes of the film and we get Alden Ehrenreich as younger Indy for the rest of the film.
On Twitter today Margold responds PaoloNov 12, 2022 @WedgeDAntille No but you're wrong, BasementDweller46 said that KK personally replaces Indiana Jones with a woman in the movie and test screening audiences HATE IT Mangold @mang0ld Replying to @GusHedenborg and @LeDoctor Nope. Haven't been any screenings at all. Mangold @mang0ld · Follow Well, Paulo, it's up to you who you believe — an anonymous troll named "basement dweller" & "doomcock" or the actual director of the film. No one will ever replace Indiana Jones. Not in any script. Not in any cut. Never discussed. 1:36 AM · Nov 12, 2022 Share

It's Hollywood. Anything is possible. Actually a modern remake of Clive Cussler's Raise The Titanic would make a cool Titanic 2 I guess.
Thanks for the link. I have read the article and it's quite interesting. I had no idea that in real life former Nazis were part of NASA in the moon landing race, so at least this fictional story is being based on true elements. By the way, it seems this article has just revealed the main plot of the film, but I'm not going to spoil it here. Judging by the plot revealed in the article, I guess they could have taken advantage of the Cold War and chosen Russians instead of Nazis.
