    Hello everybody,

I am new here and found in the review of some posts that here are the experts!

I really hope someone can help me with my question.

It's about the imprint of a CD matrix:

On my CD, I found only on the bottom in the Matrix-area a combination letters and numbers that I can not interpret.

    It is:

    PDO 600 171-2-00 D1

I already found out that PDO is the manufacturer of the CD (Philips Dupont Optical).
The numbers 600 171 are also printed on the front of the CD on the label. Is this possibly the identifier of PDO?
What do the other numbers mean?

Since this is the only info on the CD matrix, can I assume that this is a CDr? No IFPI, no catalog number, nothing except the above combination ....

Thank you very much for your help!
