I'm not a Facebook guy but am certainly clued in regarding how big it's gotten over the years. A question for record show promoters. For those who have promoted well before Facebook became a factor here, what type of advertising have you found to be the best? Do you advertise on radio? Do you send out flyers to all the used record stores in the city you are having it? Do you advertise in weekend entertainment local magazines and daily papers? Do you go online and list your shows on Record Shows Of America? Or Vinyl Times?

Lastly, how much of a factor is Facebook regarding your advertising?

Well, let me ask the collectors who go to record shows. What type of advertising are you aware of regarding local record shows in your area; radio, print, flyers at your local shops, or facebook?

Last show I went to was promoted by a flyer stapled to a utility pole.

There's a used Vinyl/CD store that's pretty prolific in letting their clientele know about upcoming record shows and events. Maybe you have one in your locale.
