Digable Planets were Butterfly, Doodlebug, Ladybug Mecca, backed by DJ Silkworm.

Speaking of which, late lamented Seattle band Silkworm!!

There was a band on The Flintstones' in the mid 60's called The 4 Insects who played "bug" music. It drove The Hatrocks' crazy. They hated bug music!!!
