Suki looks a bit haunted, no surprises following the events of July the 3rd.
What is Ray doing with his fingers towards that girl on the Kinks cover.
I thought the same thing. Keith may have asked her just as a kind gesture to a grieving friend. She was a girl who was really star-crossed. First Tara Browne, then Brian, then a car accident that killed her in 1981.

Thank you for including him. I don't think there's a more underrated American artist. I've been listening a lot to the 'lost' album he made with Phil Spector in 1975, and it is a masterpiece.
Guess we'll never know. On the right is the late Phil Everly. On the left, that resembles Buddy Holly, but I'm not sure at all.
Thank you! I notice Buddy wore tinted shades a lot, maybe because of light sensitivity? Pretty cool either way! Here's another one of him and Maria, out on the town with drummer Jerry allison and his wife Peggy Sue.

I was there that night
It's definitely Buddy. I think he and the Everly's were pretty good friends.
That's amazing! Historic times for sure!
Sometimes forgotten, Jane Birkin's daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg is also a musician.
LOL I wonder if he got his $2.50 back?
Yes I'd forgotten that she also makes music. She's certainly well known as an actress who has taken on some pretty brave roles. That combo of having a dad who looked like Serge and a mother who looked like Jane gives rise to a very interesting look. There's a term in French for that kind of attractiveness: "jolie laide" which translates into "pretty ugly" but isn't meant to be harsh at all--it means a woman who is beautiful though not conventionally pretty.
Butter think of a better pun than that.
This is an awesome pic. Never saw it and yes, you know exactly where you are.
I knew of their friendship but had not seen those photos with Brian Jones.
I believe Suki & Brian split up around April/May 69 and that she had been at Cotchford earlier on on the day he died.
Known to act a touch also.
Not sure exactly! But it could be related to the "nanker" that Keith and Brian used to do, as well as the funny faces the Beatles were known to pull. British acts seemed to go in for goofing around this way!
