Should have mentioned Ronnie Leahy was also in the 1983-86 Jack Bruce & Friends line-up. Bruce, Leahy, Gary, and Clem Clempson...

Yea I'm not sure when he joined JBG--that photo is from their 3rd US tour. They returned in May 1969 to play at the Tea Party again, but I'm pretty sure the band was falling apart by then, as Rod started recording Raincoat with Wood and Waller in July. These Nicky shots are from the fourth tour in May, same place as the Rod and Ronnie shots I posted.

Yea too bad Jeff had the final say! I think Jeff regretted that decision. Beck-Ola was a very successful record in the US-- 15 on the Billboard chart.

Good point--Keith in particular having beaten the pharmaceutical demon. Good job they didn't ask David Crosby to join the shot. He was very near death at Live Aid.

Pre-Velvets Nico singing Gordon Lightfoot's I'm Not Sayin' on Ready Steady Go, August 13th 1965. The performance is lost.

Other guests were The Animals, Sonny and Cher and The Walker Brothers.

    1. Not sure if Rod had cultivated that side of his personality at this early date.
    2. It appears that it is!

The correct dates for those shows were 10/22-24/68. On 10/31 James cotton was the headliner. This was Nicky's first actual tour with beck i believe. By the time they broke up and woodstock took place he was already playing with jefferson airplane. He also joined quicksilver that year.

What year would this be? I'm thinking maybe '68? Also, is this in front of his house?

Maybe late 1967? By '68 Lennon had it "restored"
