What a wonderful adaption of a wonderful comic! They nailed it with this series.

    Anyone else watching?

    Yeah, I'm watching it...
Just not a fan of that animation style....seems a little cheap...

    Well, that was pretty good...
Certainly setting up a Season Two, right off the bat.

Still need to see how epic they make the fight between father and son on the show. Hope it's half as brutal as in the comic.

Season 2 cannot get here fast enough.

I'm an old-time comics nerd (I started when they cost a dime!). I stopped buying them when the DC "Nu wave" began. One of the last runs I bought, and still own, was Invincible. Basically, a story featuring Superman as the father, but his son as the lead character. Writer Robert Kirkman was really on a roll creatively, but all of a sudden, his other pet project, the Walking Dead took off! I'm not sure but, I think, currently the Superman book, he has a son. I doubt the new books will ever get as good as Invincible was! I agree, the "War" was one of the most epic comic tales I've ever read!

Another book, by a long-time Superman writer, Mark Waid (Kingdom Come), has a Superman-gone-bad theme that was very good. Irredeemable!
