I am! She has a great catalog of songs: "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue", "Half the Way", and "I'll Get Over You" just to name a few. Her hair is also ridiculously long! I admire Crystal for her music, generosity, and versatility in music. Her singing is also really good! She has smooth vocal delivery...but I don't like how she cuts her "r's" to sound british. Other than that, Crystal Gayle is definitely underatted but a timeless singer

My 1st wife loved her, and we had that album with "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" on it, which we played lots. My current spouse can't abide that song for even one second, go figure! Still a fan, tho.

YES! I love most of her songs! Country easy listening - but what´s wrong with that? I love her voice - the warmth is soothing. One of my many favourites is "Too Good to Throw Away". Also her uptempo version of "It´s Alright with Me" sounds great to me. :agree:

Sure. I did a few shows with her back when we were both getting started back in 1975.

When I dream is one of my all-time favourite albums - not a weak track on it. Stunning version of Cry me a river. The playing on that album is exceptional. I love the Wayward Wind - I’ve only heard a couple of other versions of this lovely old song. In fact I love every track. On other albums, I love One more time and Don’t it make... I haven’t heard anything new from her for many years which is a shame. I used to love her little pronunciation quirk when she sings any word with ‘ing’ on the end - it came out as ‘un’, for example ‘leaving’ became ‘leavun’.

Love her! One of my all- time favorites is from her soundtrack with Tom Waits...

My favorite album of hers is “These Days”, a very soulful country album!

One of my favorites from "These Days", a cover of a minor Bobby "Blue" Bland hit:

I love her songs that were produced by Allen Reynolds, as he knew how to perfectly get that "something special" out of her with great songs and the most simple production. (He did the exact same with the late Don Williams, as well). I've never been a fan of her sister Loretta, although I know what a legend she is, but is there a better example of two stars from the same family who sound NOTHING alike?

This song is my favorite by Crystal ...

I like her version of Rodney Crowell's "Till I Gain Control Again". She holds her own in comparison with Emmylou Harris on this great song.
    Nice video as well.

I really don't care for the late '80's production on the following song, but almost any song with the lead singer of Dr. Hook, is ok by me!
