i think they were serious for the first three albums, and then started to be a bit less serious. the latest albums cant be serious at all,
How would it be better if they'd played it for laughs or as a joke? One of the problems I have with quite a bit of entertainment we have now is that there's hardly any sincerity and earnestness anymore if you make something "just for entertainment", either it's made as "We're not really making this seriously" or made with snarkiness or sarcasm, or then it's gotta be something with "deeper meaning" or something like "this is very serious" (as in it gotta "say something"). Manowar is not my favorite band, but I like their albums till the mid 90s at least.
I think it comes from the ship whose name comes from the jellyfish EDIT: no wait the jellyfish name comes from the ship
Portuguese Man O War jelly fish gets the name after resembling the ship at full sail. I also remember mixing up Manowar with Spinal Tap!This was all way back years ago being a kid Ha Ha!
The German fans will lap it up, I can tell you that! And i also enjoy this song more than any of the ones from the last EP.
I wonder how difficult/easy it will be for the A.I. to write Manowar songs in the future? Could the new german/english Manowar song be already written by A.I.?
I doubt. AI would do a much better job than what they released. I'm not even joking. Unfortunately it seems it's a case of mental health with DeMaio, he sounds and looks delusional with every new clip he releases. The rest of the band can't do much about it I guess, it's also their wage.
I only feel sorry for Eric. He is such a humble guy for what he can accomplish with his voice, you just got to love the him. A few years back, when DeMaio announced the "Farewell" Tour, Eric even went on in an interview that how he would miss the stage and that everything must come to an end once, etc. Even he didn't know Joey's bs that it was just a marketing ploy to lure in more spectators to the then upcoming German world tour.
