    Or is it just 24/96?

This disc plays three ways: Advanced Resolution Surround, Advanced Resolution Stereo, DVD-Video Compatable 5.1 Dolby Digital.

Plus the interviews were very nice.

No. According to the engineer on the sessions, a 24/192 Stereo track was made. But it was not included.

Is this somewhere in the video or in an interview somewhere?

If you have a link, that would be great! TIA!

It was from a panel I attended earlier this year at the Stereophile HT 2001 show in New York City.

The panel also featured a lively discussion between the audience and Jordan Rost from Warner Music on watermarking. Despite audience comments, Rost insisted that Warner would continue to watermark all of their DVD-A discs. He's clearly committed to the concept.

  6. With all due respect to Steve W, can any human being actually hear the difference between 24/96 and 24/192? Wouldn't a 24/96 recording have a usable frequency response of 48kHz? How much information could be lost between 48 and 96kHz? This just seems like overkill to me. Please, I welcome your responses.
