Italy postage prices.

I've noticed on Ebay & Discogs that many sellers in Italy charge very high international postage prices compared to other EU countries.

For a single CD to the UK most sellers I buy from in France, Germany, Spain will charge 5-8 Euros postage per CD but from Italy sellers regularly charge 20-25 Euros postage for a CD.

Can anyone in Italy confirm to me what it would cost a single CD weighing 125g to send to UK by standard airmail and additionally by tracked service?

No Air Mail here, as far as definitions go... There are several ways to ship records with Poste Italiane.

My choices to UK are as follows:

- unregistered, cheap and slow - Postamail internazionale - shipping 1 CD costs € 5,90

- registered and faster - Raccomandata internazionale - shipping 1 CD costs € 12,70

The former may take quite some time, but I never had a lost package. My actual rates are a bit higher to cover materials cost.
