More funny than scary (to me now) but as a kid it was fairly frightening.

    The Omen (1976, Richard Donner)
Mysterious deaths surround an American ambassador. Could the child that he is raising actually be the Antichrist? The Devil's own son?
I hear the book is better though it's something I'd avoid reading. Movie's fine!

Any and all of the Universal monster movies from 1931 through Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein , which Svengoolie just ran Saturday night .

I’m not a big buyer of movies, but I did pop for the Universal monsters DVD box set with the figurines a few years ago.

The sets, and the lighting, and the laboratories, etc., have fascinated me ever since I was a kid.

Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine was a monthly must buy for me for a few years in the early 60’s.
