I'm watching The Exorcist S2 TV series. It's an excellent show and scary as hell.

Two women kill samurais and sell their belongings for a living. While one of them is having an affair with their neighbor, the other woman meets a mysterious samurai wearing a bizarre mask.
One of my favorites. Karma's a bitch.
There's a beter version, of course, on the Criterion Channel but I'm glad to see a watchable copy on The Tube.

I'm a big fan of De La Iglesia's films - he's an under-sung genius of genre films (more than just horror - he's done others). El Día de la Bestia is a riot - both horrifying and (intentionally) funny, in a very bleak way.

No idea. I watch horror movies year round so October is no different for me. :) A lot of people hate found footage movies but they are a guilty pleasure for me. I may watch V/H/S/94 on Shudder.

I too watch horror movies 12 months a year (and Christmas movies 0 months a year) but the 4K Universal Classic Monsters set with Drac, Frankie, Wolfie and The Invisible Man is here so I'm all set. The clearer you can see Evelyn Ankers the dreamier she gets.
