    It's been a year so welcome to the SH FORUMS Forum Fundraiser 2023!

    Hard to believe, it's been almost 22 years on line as the Greatest Music Forum Of Them All!

    As you know by now, it costs over $5,000.00 a year to keep this place running smoothly and quick loading.

    Since we do not have banner advertising (and never want to although we've been asked; heck, many companies have BEGGED!) we need your assistance.

    Yes, advertisers are always licking their lips regarding this place and have been for many years and I've always held them off; we get millions of hits a week here and it has been noted out there in Internetland. I do not want ads here so if you can help us out it would be appreciated.

    The volunteer moderators (The Brothers Gort) and I really appreciate all of your support.

    The SH Forums have really taken on a life of their own since the beginning of 2002. A giant swelling membership means the Forums have lost their intimacy of the early years but that is the only downside. Our wonderful moderators keep our Forums fun. It has been great for the last 22 years!

    The moderators have thought about it but no.

    The problem with that idea is that a VIP member might feel entitled to special treatment or special consideration. Not fair to others so we can't have that here. All members equal and that sort of thing..

    Well, I know the moderators have thought about and you do say there is a problem with the idea. But it means that those supporting the site are just getting something in return, such as being able to edit posts for longer after posting.
