Jagger and Richards statue to be made

not sure where to put this but I guess it's artistic..

home town of Jagger and Richards to create a statue of the pair in Dartford, Kent.

Statues of Rolling Stones legends to be unveiled in Kent high street

doesn't say when though. I work close to there so will take some pics whenever it's unveiled.

I was just reading about The Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford. Have you been there?

 

drive past it most days but never been in there. I think its a performing arts venue and never seen anything advertised there that i'd be interested in

They knew each other as kids and renewed acquaintances at the train station as teens. Jagger had some blues records under his arm which Keith was very interested in.

 

Maybe they can use Plaster Caster's work as a starter.

 

Imho, a relatively understated statue placed at the now-legendary town rail station - of teenage schoolboys Michael and Keith standing around perusing young Michael's record albums - would make for a more compelling monument than one erected smack dab in the town center depicting adult rock stars Mick and Keef.
