I have a few Pink Floyd japanese lp's and 2 WHO japanese lp's.....and a Christopher Cross lp from japan....maybe a couple more....theyre very good as far as sound quality.

I have always assumed that most japanese pressings of American or European bands and artists arent made from the 1st analog tapes (maybe im incorrect) always, but that they typically used a higher quality or virgin raw material for thier vinyl which makes them sound really good despite not using original tapes.....also, another assumption that ive had is that the average japanese teen compared to the average American teen was much gentler and respectful of thier "things".....again, maybe Im just wrong....
I remember being a teen and myself and my friends would never have been accused of handling our records delicately.....we also werent thinking about our records being playable 40 years later either.
