I guess follow up, love the all black models out now, but the woodgrain look with the colored covers, so classic. And which color to get, heck maybe all 3 or at least orange and the black as extras. Great thread and great pics of your setups.

L82 will fill a room at not annoy the neighbor volumes. L52 might be too small. Most definitely buy the stands.

    I say check out the 3-way L100.
It's going to sound better at low volume because of the representation of more drivers.

Good point. Bigger cabinets sound richer at low volumes.

I know there is a big horn fan club and for good reason.
However, getting a gel 3-way is something else.
I haven't spent enough time with horns to give an educated opinion, but I doubt the majority of the horn guys have heard a nice 3-way system. Curious if someone here has spent time with both speakers and has feedback.

Put my Denon integrated in as a second power amp this week for the LF hookup to match the Rogue for HF. I can confirm the bi-amp XO in the new MKII is kick ass.
Sounds like larger or even additional subs now punching with great bass authority while keeping the dynamics in tact.

Wow! They have something fun going on here and I think they nailed.
Definitely more in line with the Maxell ad now:cool:

    Here's the bi-amp chain now:
Perseus Preamp Var Output 1 > ST-100 Power Amp> 4 Ohm Tap> JBL HF top posts (100 wpc)
Perseus Preamp Var Output 2 > Denon PMA-A110 Ext. Pre In> JBL LF bottom posts (160 WPC)
