I never tire of Mr. Lalonde.
He’s the first multi winner in a long time I haven’t gotten sick of. And he seems to just love the game with no agenda.

Yeah. I have no cable/satellite or antenna for local channels so this is how I watch. We usually watch episodes uploaded by this guy who always comments at the end in some non-English language. We wish we knew what he was saying.

I'm enjoying watching Ray as well.
He seems genuinely surprised at every win, and his range of knowledge is impressive.
I'm hoping he makes it to the end of the week.

One of the BEST non-Tournament of Champions shows in a good while.

The producers shoulda made them play another game!

That they were: They gave him a run for his money for sure...

I think Ray will take Friday's game to make it a dozen. And if he beats Cris's wins/money won, that'd be fine by me (I didn't care for Cris).

Hilarious category tonight (“The Ageless Diana Ross”). For those who don’t know, there have been a couple recent games where Ross fans have lost their minds because people have guessed her to be (significantly) older than she is.

I like that Ray knows his entertainment trivia as well as the usual science, history, geography, etc. Guess being a scenic artist helps. Good show today with all three scoring numbers that would be winners on any other day.

While watching, I joked to my wife that if Ross was watching, she would probably be insulted that her category was picked last after most of the board was already cleared.:D

The last week or so, I haven't been able to find recent episodes on YouTube. We missed last Thursday and Friday and wanted to catch up last night, but couldn't find them. Has anyone else had trouble finding recent episodes on YouTube? Thanks.

No, but have noticed fewer number of uploads for recent shows on YouTube. So, my wife and I expanded our search and found more shows for the same date. For example, we were searching for “Jeopardy MONTH DAY, YEAR”. Then we tried “Jeopardy MM/DD/YY”.

Sounds like they have candidates already for the next second chance tournament, they were very impressive as was the guy on Friday's show.

Ray Lalonde is a great player but that was a bad beat for the lady from Seaside heights NJ tonight. She played extremely well. Ray does get on a roll at times and he does bet what he needs to at end.

I agree, BUT...I also DO NOT check into this thread until after I've watched.

If I miss a show, I just don't check on the thread. I think if spoilers are eliminated, there is very little to talk about. Just my opinion. I get that it puts the west coast at a disadvantage though.

He did go on a tear at the end. He had $1000 and in just a few minutes he was winning with $16100.

Something happened last night that I don't think I've ever seen before. When Ray picked the first Daily Double and was asked for his wager, the contestant next to him turned to him and said "$2000". He ignored her and wagered $4000. Why would she think she could intervene during the game like that?
