Jeopardy! 2023

I sure didn't know who Blondie's drummer is. Don't even know any Blondie songs besides heart of glass.

 

I had that one right as well.

 

I noticed it. Easy for us SHFers. Stumped the panel, though.

 

Blondie has been a big deal in my music collection for a long time, and Clem is a long-standing charter member, but if you wanted me to name a Kids On The Block member, or even anyone in Bon Jovi besides the guy with that name, I'd be a total blank.

 

Did anyone het the Violent Femmes reference?

Facial expressions alert! New champ is gonna get on my nerves. I just know it.

 

My Mom couldn't watch Buck Owens singing because of his facial expressions. I'm more about sounds that irritate and loved Buck!

 

Yeah I could see where her emphasized reactions could be annoying. A Two Day Champion.

 

I like the current champ, Lisa Sriken, She's a real character with her weird expressions and humor. Despite making some horrible guesses ("Jules Verne" when the correct response was the name of a Dumas novel, The Count of Monte Cristo), she's also pretty smart.

I like her. She's kinda funny. I like the faces she makes.

 

I would like to point out that Jeopardy! discriminates against middle-ranked contestants.

The current champ gets to pick in the first round, and the lowest ranked player gets to start the second segment. What advantage is the bestowed on the middle-ranked competitor - nada.

Yes I am a middle child.

She seems very real. And she's not afraid to try to be funny. I like her. At least for now.
